![]() If this is up-voted I'll do a video or just share the spreadsheet. ![]() I tried to purchase a CD of the game files and got a link to Steam instead. Once that's done the new link files will reference the original ones, you can do that with any files, and as long as the original ones don't move, they will work. Does anyone know how to get a really good, clean install of FO4 I have un-installed and re-installed through Steam and my game continues to be messed up. I used a spreadsheet to paste in the links, and concatenate the commands with the inverted commas in columns as you can't use them with the concatenate function. ![]() Just do that for all the DLC files and mods (note that the new VR file is the first link), also because it has spaces, you need to use "inverted commas" Mklink "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4 VR\Data\DLCCoast - Main.ba2" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\DLCCoast - Main.ba2" ![]() To use mklink, start an Administrator command prompt and for example, run this may not load the dlc, those files may need to be added to the ini files in a similar fashion to Archive sResourceIndexFileListFallout4 - Textures1.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures2.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures3.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures4.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures5.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures6.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures7.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures8.ba2. It avoids having duplicate copies of about 65GB of stuff on my SDD. Originally posted by Xakio Vaxis:I've done this using 'mklink' which is a symlink for windows. ![]()
